This image is a books collection which I think is very beautiful, it’s like building a private mini-library in your own home. Someday after getting married and having my own home, I must have a room where I could store as much as possible of books collection lining on shelves. A Various books ranging from novels, magazines, text books, even graphic novels must be available in a book shelves. Those image above is my uncle’s owned books shelve and his collection is "not many", only one shelve that’s all.
Actually there is one of my family who also have a collection of books in his home with huge numbers, but not placed in a special room, but placed in the living room that also functions as a room decoration. He has passed away now but since he is a lecturer, his books collection are mostly textbooks. Although he is a statistician, he also have a quite diverse books collection even about farming, agriculture, entrepreneurship, etc. It’s very thick and bulky each books with hundreds to thousands of pages.
Inside my room blueprint, I don’t want just a special room for my future books collection but also the room when we can enjoy a cozy atmosphere that is comfortable to read, so it needs using air conditioner, smooth sofa, carpet for covering the floor combined with buquet(wood floor) even if necessary, I also needs a silencer like a music recording studio. This room functions also as a musholla. Even this room are soundproof, but at certain times it still can be opened using a special air ventilation for circulating the air and light when the room wasn’t being used for reading.
Every time I read a book, i feel i am such a hypnotized and seemingly was there at the story and together with someone from the book. Whether it’s fiction or non-fiction is always like that. My reference came from Goodreads and NeyYorkTime Best Seller Book. Hopefully, I can make this blueprint as soon as possible and i can put my books collection into a custom designed storage specially tailored for my future room space. It won’t sacrifice a room space but it can store a lot of books in just a single room.
